Business Health Network, Gold Heath @ Work Award

T.H. March, for the fourth year running have won the Business Health Network, Gold Health @ Work Award.

The purpose of this Health @ Work Award is to help workplaces implement healthy living policies and schemes. Each element of the award has separate aims that contribute towards the scoring of the award.

The Business Health Network promotes healthy workplaces in conjunction with Plymouth NHS and the award catagories include:

• Training Opportunities
• Positive Mental Health
• Gold Standard Smokefree Workplaces
• Healthy Eating Options
• Physical Activity
• Worklife Balance
• Working Age

The Health @ Work Award recognises businesses that demonstrate a commitment to employees health by promoting and supporting healthy lifestyles for employees and their families.

The Awards are assessed throughout the year and awarded on an annual basis. Assessment occurs through an interview format with a worker from the Business Health Network. TH March have achieved Gold for the fourth year running and are aiming for Platinum next year!
