Jim joined us in 1963 in the London city office. During his career he has gained experience in every department within THM.

Now based in the Yelverton Office, he is not only chairman of the board but still handles a portfolio of clients and has hands on the reins with regard to the smooth running of the Administrative operations of the company.

Having 'done' the London marathon on three ocassions and been an equally keen squash player, he has recently purchased a new pair of running shoes to "regain his youth" !

Jim has further interests that include all those things we all love to do, travel and wine, sports at a participant and spectator level - even still following his boyhood team - Come on you SPURS !!!

Michael is Managing Director, based in London.

He joined T H March in 1972, coming from a research background in molecular genetics. He worked initially in London in Jewellers Block, general commercial and life departments, before moving to the Plymouth office where he completed his Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute. In 1978 he moved to the Birmingham office for 10 years before returning to London in 1988.

Michael is the 3rd generation of his family to hold the post of Managing Director. His grandfather joined the firm's founder, Thomas H March, in 1905, with his father taking over the role on his grandfather's death in 1960.

Andrew is Finance Director for TH March and joined the company in 2003. He is based in Yelverton and is responsible for financial management.

Andrew is a chartered accountant, with a background in corporate finance. He has recently qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Before joining TH March, Andrew spent eight years as Finance Director of Detica Group plc. He was heavily involved in Detica's management buyout in 1997 and was a key member of the management team that took the company through its successful flotation on the London Stock Exchange in 2002. He qualified with Ernst and Young in 1987 and spent two years with the firm in Australia, before returned to the UK and specialising in corporate finance.

Neil is Sales Director for T H March, with responsibility for the Company Sales and Marketing strategies and activities.

He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Insurance Broker. Neil was also elected as one of the youngest Presidents of the Plymouth Insurance Institute in 1992.
Neil's career in insurance began in 1982 when he joined Cornhill Insurance as a motor and motor fleet Underwriter. He joined T H March in 1983, starting with an account handling role within the Commercial Insurance Department, then moving to an account executive's role, both based in the Plymouth office.

Neil was appointed as an Associate Director, in 1998 and moved to our London office in 1999. He became a Director in 1999 and was appointed Sales Director in 2005.

Mark is Broking Director for the TH March Jewellers Block account.

He joined the company in Plymouth Devon in 1987 with responsibilities in the commercial department before moving up to London in 1992. Since that time along with facilitating the operation of the company's Lloyd's markets Mark has dealt specifically with Jewellers block insurance and its associated products.

Mark has a BTEC degree in business studies, ACII qualified and a Chartered Insurance Broker. Before joining T H March, Mark spent eight years at Commercial Union, dealing with all aspects of commercial insurance
