Other Ways to Pay



Monthly Instalments

If your premium exceeds £100 you can pay over 10 months if required. Monthly instalments are payable through an insurance premium finance company called Premium Credit, for whom we act as a credit broker. Payments are subject to an instalment charge of no more than 8.98% although this may reduce for premiums over £550. In addition to this, for annual premiums of £550 or less, Premium Credit will charge an administration fee of £5. For higher premiums, this may increase and we will advise you of the charges on request. A credit check will be undertaken at the start of the agreement.

Annual Direct Debit

If you want to pay in full each year but do not want the hassle of arranging the payment we can automatically debit the amount from a designated account on the renewal date each year. Please note banks and building societies may not accept Direct Debit instructions from some types of account.

You might notice a message when setting up a BACS payment with us for the first time about the account not being registered as COP (Confirmation of Payee). The COP service was introduced by major UK banks following a directive from the regulator, but smaller banks such as ours (Handelsbanken) are not yet included. If you would like to pay by cheque please make your cheque payable to TH March & Co Limited for the full premium due. Please write your Policy ID on the back of your cheque so we can ensure your money is allocated correctly to your account.
