Monthly Instalments

If your premium exceeds £100 you can pay over 10 months if required. Monthly instalments are payable through an insurance premium finance company called Premium Credit, for whom we act as a credit broker. A credit check will be undertaken at the start of the agreement.

Annual Direct Debit

If you want to pay in full each year but do not want the hassle of arranging the payment we can automatically debit the amount from a designated account on the renewal date each year. Please note banks and building societies may not accept Direct Debit instructions from some types of account.

Help for customers paying by bank transfer or cheque

Banks have introduced the “Confirmation of Payee” system to help fight against fraud and payment recipient mistakes. When you make a payment, rather than just checking account number and sort code, you will notice that the bank now also tries to verify the name of whom you are paying. Mismatches, meaning even small errors such as the wrong spaces, commas and other punctuation not being exactly as per our bank account below, cause payment issues.
