A huge congratulations goes out to Jo Morgan, Regional Director – HR at TH March, who graduated from the Aviva Future Leadership Programme on 25th November at the Bloomsbury Hotel in London. The course, which started for Jo in January 2024, is a practical, two‑year learning journey designed for senior managers or rising leaders in broking firms who want to confidently run a business. It covers subjects such as Marketing, Finance, Leadership and Communication Styles, Challenges within the Broker World, Sustainability and AI. Jo was supported by experienced trainers, mentors and peer networks , helping her become “boardroom-ready” by increasing confidence, smoothing succession planning, and connecting her with fellow future leaders to share ideas and grow together.
The course was no mean feat to get on to, let alone complete. In order to gain a place, Jo had to fill in forms, go through a rigorous interviewing process, and have a board level sponsor supporting the application, in this case Karen Mortimer – Finance Director for TH March. Karen also contributed to the application process, writing a submission on behalf of the Board supporting Jo’s application, and describing how the course would benefit her. Over the duration of the course, Karen oversaw the experience, receiving frequent updates on Jo’s progress as well as the course material from each session. Commenting on Jo’s success, Karen had this to say:
“It has been a pleasure to watch Jo grow in confidence throughout the course. She has already taken much of the experience and knowledge gained and used it in her role within T H March. She has been an important contributor on the course and has developed a close network of associates in her cohort that she will continue to stay in touch with now that they have finished. It made me very proud to watch Jo graduate, as I know how much time and effort she has put into this achievement.”
Other successful course graduates include none other than our own Simon Dawe – Managing Director of TH March, who completed the course a few years ago and has also extended his congratulations to Jo on her graduation.
Congrats Jo! 🎉
