At participating jewellers in the UK you can add insurance to your jewellery/watch purchase at check out. This standalone insurance policy, March Guard (also known as Jewellery & Watch Insurance or Timepiece & Jewellery Care), is only available for purchases up to certain limits. It can only be bought during that point of sale, as an addition to your jewellery or watch purchase.

If your claim circumstances mean you have to replace your item, the March Guard insurance issued to you at point of sale by your jeweller allows you, wherever possible, to collect an exact replacement from your jeweller.
March Guard issued at point of sale by your jeweller cannot usually be renewed, but you can take out another insurance through us directly here at TH March.

The point of sale policy, March Guard, allows cover for the intended wearer of the insured item. In the event of a claim either the purchaser or the wearer are able to submit a claim in the first instance.
No, unfortunately, the point of sale insurance is only available directly from your jeweller as part of your jewellery/watch purchase. However, we at TH March specialise in insurance for jewellery, and we might be able to assist you with alternative insurance cover arranged directly through us. Your jeweller may have provided information that TH March offers insurance, but if you did not buy a policy in store or online as part of your jewellery insurance purchase then it is unlikely you have a March Guard policy. This means your jeweller is not your first contact point for a claim, nor can they help with arranging March Guard insurance for your jewellery purchase. Please allow us to help you.
