We are delighted to announce that Nat Brown, Head of Customer Experience at TH March Group, has been awarded the Distinguished Service Award by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) is a professional body for the insurance and financial planning professions in the UK and internationally. Its mission is to build public trust in insurance by promoting high professional standards, competence, and ethical behaviour. In 2012, TH March became one of the first 100 UK insurance brokers to achieve chartered status. We remain committed to maintaining our chartered status and the high professional and ethical standards it represents.
Each year, the prestigious recognition is bestowed on just a few individuals out of the CII’s global membership of more than 125,000 professionals. The CII invites nominations from across the UK, selecting a small number of recipients who have made outstanding contributions to the insurance profession and wider community. The award recognises those who go above and beyond, voluntarily dedicating their time to support the development and professionalism of the sector.
Nat was nominated by peers from the Insurance Institute of Plymouth & Cornwall for her nearly two decades of tireless commitment to advancing professional standards in insurance and financial services. Her work has been instrumental in bridging the two sectors in the region, leading initiatives that enhance access to study support and professional development, ultimately improving financial literacy and accessibility for individuals and communities.
The awards ceremony, held last week (June 2025) at Loch Lomond, celebrated this year’s deserving recipients. Nat was especially recognised for her enduring dedication to the CII and Personal Finance Society (PFS), and for her positivity and resilience in the face of significant personal challenges.
Speaking after the event, Nat said:
“I’m truly honoured to have received the Distinguished Service Award. The real reward has always been hearing from members who pass their exams and progress in their careers, it shows that the programmes we’ve developed are making a real impact. Knowing we’re contributing to improving professional standards and public trust is incredibly meaningful, and this award is a wonderful icing on the cake.”
Simon Dawe, Managing Director at TH March, said:
“We are incredibly proud of Nat and all that she has achieved. This award from the Chartered Insurance Institute is a true testament to her unwavering dedication to professional standards, development, and community impact. At TH March, we place great value on our long-standing commitment to excellence and integrity, and Nat exemplifies those values in everything she does. Her recognition by the CII reflects not only her personal contribution but also our collective belief in raising standards across the insurance and financial services profession. We are delighted to see her receive such well-deserved recognition.”
