How claims are settled

For some straightforward claims, insurers allow TH March to act on your behalf to settle your claim under what is known as delegated authority. We would stress, however, that our primary focus as your insurance broker is to act in your best interests and ensure that your claim is settled in line with the cover provided.

For the other claims that TH March cannot settle, the insurer will make the decisions. It is not possible to determine at this point of you completing the form online whether it will be TH March or the insurers making the decisions on your claim, but this information can be provided on request. If you would prefer that insurers make decisions on the settlement of your claim, please let us know and we will refer the matter to them.
