Our Claims Service – The Diamond Standard!

You’ve lost your engagement ring and have no idea where it could be. The last time you looked it was on your finger.
The beautiful bracelet, gifted to you by your parents for your 30th birthday has been badly damaged and you are unsure if it can be repaired and even if it can, can you afford the repair bill?
Those diamond earrings your husband bought you as a wedding gift, you know, the ones that makes you think of your special day every time you wear them. One has gone missing! You now don’t have a matching pair…

If you’ve ever been in any of these situations then you will be only too familiar of how stressful a time it can be. Not knowing how you lost an item or how much it will cost to repair can leave you feeling quite upset and overwhelmed. The thought of having to make a claim on your personal jewellery policy can be a daunting task too, but it doesn’t have to be if you are insured via TH March. We have an expert team of claims handlers ready to help you with making a claim and our team always strives to go the extra mile for our customers and make the claims process as painless an experience as possible.

We regularly receive some fantastic reviews regarding our claims handling which have, until now, been for internal use only. We think we should shout about our claims service. After all, no matter how slick the marketing or how glossy the brochure, an insurance policy is only as good as its claims service and the people behind it.

As a result, we are now asking our customers who have had to make a claim on their policy to review us via the independent review community, TrustPilot. We want our existing and future customers to know that they are in safe hands if they have to make a claim and that TH March will work as hard as possible to settle any claim made, professionally, fairly and as quick as possible.

Below is an example of a recent glowing review received from a satisfied customer regarding one of our claims handlers, Crystal Gerard and our claims service.

Mr M, from Glasgow, said:

“I just wanted to take time to compliment you on a member of your staff – Crystal Gerard. She is an absolute credit to your company and I hope she is recognised as such.

My wife sadly lost one of the diamond studs I bought her as a surprise wedding day gift, and was hugely upset. From the moment I first spoke to Crystal about the claim, she was reassuring, calming and so helpful it was unlike any insurance company experience I have EVER had before – not just claims, even sales staff haven’t been this helpful when trying to sell me policies!

She was super-efficient from start to finish, from reassuring me throughout the initial call when I was worried and upset on my devastated wife’s behalf, to swiftly following up and guiding me through the claims process. Nothing was too much trouble for her, any questions were answered in moments and always hugely positively. My jeweller was away on holiday so I couldn’t get the info I needed right away, even then she was very reassuring that it wouldn’t cause a huge delay etc.

The most incredible element of all is that when I finally got the missing info and sent claim form, she replied 2 hours and 20 mins later with the authorisation of the claim – I found this simply astounding, as did my jeweller

Because of Crystal and her exemplary service I will not only remain a lifelong customer of TH March but have already recommended you to numerous friends and will continue to do so”.

We hope that by us sharing such reviews in future, it will help you with any hesitation you may have in choosing TH March’s personal jewellery & watch insurance over others and give you confidence that you will receive ‘the diamond standard’ from TH March.
